JUNEAU, ALASKA - Mendenhall Glacier - 1980s Visitor Map and Guide
Description: Here's a nice fold-out map and guide for Mendenhall Glacier, located just outside Juneau, Alaska. This is Alaska Region Leaflet Number 67, produced by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Forest Service. The guide provides a history and an explanation for the glacier, as well as a map showing the trails and geographic features next to the glacier and Mendenhall Lake.
Size: Folded: approx. 8.75" x 3.75"
Open: approx. 8.75" x 22.5"
Date: Not dated, but I'm fairly certain it's from the late 1980s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The map has some minor wrinkling in places, but no tears or extraneous markings. (Please see photos.)
