This special edition men's issue of Essence magazine from December 1996 is in excellent condition considering its age. The cover story is about Michael Jordan. Other articles feature Minister Farrakhan, James Baldwin, B.B. King, and thoughts on love, sex, stress, style, and spirituality from prominent male figures (mainly celebrities and authors) in the African American community. There are recipes for healthy side dishes and nice vintage ads with Tina Turner, Patti LaBelle, Tyra Banks, and more! All the pages are intact, no writing, scribbling, etc... There is some minor wear on the cover due to normal handing and age. The address label has been blacked out.
