This item is a rare and vintage J. BRIAN / Vitruvian Productions publication titled J. BRIAN'S FLASHBACKS JOCK STRAP CONTEST featuring full-page photo pictorials / photography from the 1981 motion picture Flashbacks
The Jock Strap Contest Film featuring the debut of Leo Ford (as Leo Higeford), also starring Art Williams, Douglas Boggs, Frank Sears, Gary Coon, Jamie Wingo, Jeff Porter, Jim Mallett, Mickey Squires, Miles Mitchell, Ray Peters, Rick Adams, Ron Pearson, Will Seagers and Randy Johnson. This magazine was produced in 1981 using heavy stock paper. It is oversized at 8-1/2” x 11”. It is still in UNREAD condition. This item is DEADSTOCK and the original distributor never sold it; it has been in storage for over 40 years.

"The Jock Strap Dance Contest has been a San Francisco tradition for many, many years. Held every other Sunday evening at the End-Up Bar, audiences have seen some of the hottest men compete for the $100 prize money and for fun, fame, recognition or just for the hell of it. Always done in the spirit of respect and good natured fun, the Jock Strap Contest has attracted entrants and spectators from around the world. The current M.C., Randy Johnson, has been entertaining the crowds for several years with his quick wit, knowledgeable humor and outrageous questions. Randy is the definite star of the contest and a real asset to this film.
When J. Brian, who was a judge of the contest for two years, decided to make the film about the sexual adventure as confessed by various contestants, it was only natural to go to the man and the place where it happens. Thus, J. Brian shot on location with the real people who make it work. Here then is the story of the Jock Strap Contest as hosted by Randy Johnson, and the "flashback" tales of seven contestants on a recent Sunday evening. For the finest enjoyment of this film, we hope you can see the full two hour, sound-synch video cassette but the 8mm versions contain the essence of J. Brian's FLASHBACKS, his hottest film yet.
