Description: Here's a simple romantic postcard featuring the silhouette of a young woman, with text that reads:

"There's a vacancy
here ever since
you left."

It has a three-letter logo in the lower left and on the back it states: "PINING SERIES -- No, 5470".

The card ia postmarked from St. Louis, Missouri, on September 12, 1911. It's addressed to a Miss Evelyn Mueller of Chesterfield, Missouri, from a fellow named George.

Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"

Date: Postmarked 1911, but the card itself has no copyright date.

Condition: Very good, I'd say. It's obviously postally used, with slightly worn edges and corners. The back appears to have a small patch of wispy extraneous paper stuck to it. The lower left corner has a mild thumb bend. (Please see scans.)
