WARNER'S SAFE YEAST Victorian Trade Card - two women and a dog
Description: Victorian Trade Card - WARNER'S SAFE YEAST
Amusing vintage advertising card featuring a young woman holding her hands over the eyes of a barefoot seated woman who's holding a can of Warner's Safe Yeast. A black-and-white dog is watching the proceedings intently.
An extensive narrative on the back promotes Warner's "SAFECURE", which apparently cures just about everything.
Size: approx. 5" x 3.5"
Date: Not dated
Lithographer: Mayer, Merkel & Ottmann
Condition: Good, I'd say. The front of this card is only lightly soiled, but the back is a bit scuffed, with some scattered patches of extraneous paper stuck to it. The left edge is rather rough and there's a crease at the bottom center. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
