JERSEY COFFEE Victorian Trade Card - Dayton Spice - colorful roses, small bird
Description: Victorian Trade Card - JERSEY COFFEE - Dayton Spice Mills Co., Dayton, Ohio
Very pretty embossed vintage advertising card featuring a large glassy vase sitting on a stone pedestal and containing yellow and pink roses. The pedestal itself appears to be sitting on snow-covered ground, with a small stream, a stone-arch bridge and a farmhouse in the background. A small bird is flying towards the roses.
The back carries typical advertising for the coffee.
Size: approx. 5.375" x 3.375"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The front of this card is only lightly soiled, while the back is a bit scuffed and has several areas of extraneous paper stuck to it. The edges and corners are slightly worn and there's a small tear (~1/8") in the bottom margin. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
