Description: Victorian Trade Card - SUBLIMIOR DE HARRIS - H. & W. Harris, London, Paris

Pretty vintage French advertising card featuring a young girl and boy picking fruit. The boy is handing a peach, or apple, to the girl while leaning on a large wicker basket. There's a ladder leaning up against the tree in the background.

The back has advertising (in French, of course) for what appears to be an English hair coloring product, available in several shades to cover gray hair. There's also a rubber stamped name and address for a "Coiffeur" in Saint Macaire.

Size: approx. 4.75" x 3.125"

Condition: Just good, I'd say. This card is moderately soiled overall, with quite a bit of scribbling in black ink on the back. The edges and corners are a bit rough and there's a diagonal crease across the upper right corner. (Please see scans.)
