In the Marvel Comics Fan Magazine FOOM # 20, he does an interview and states "I really like Machine Man--the story moves quickly and almost writes itself and the character is very fun to work with"!
"House of Nightmares!" finds Machine Man hunted by a US Army Crack Squad that wants to take him down--a sentient Robot is considered a threat to the USA!!
But while they're hunting him, he's been damaged and cannot fly and must repair himself--so he finds a Car Repair Shop and makes them a diamond from a stone to pay!
He fashions a cool set of wheels, basically making himself a living Motorcycle--and the chase is on!!
