Description: Here's a very interesting historical postcard featuring a carved model of the Bastille, from the National Archives in Paris, France. It states (in French, of course) that the model was carved by a citizen named Palloy in one of the stones left from the demolition of the prison. Hanging along the base of the model is a row of keys, which I presume were also original to the building.
The text also names each of the 8 towers of the building.
Size: approx. 3.5" x 5.5"
Date: Not dated.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, with just some light rubbing on the back. The edges and corners are only very slightly worn. (Please see scans).
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
