This bottle is a representation of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, located in South Dakota. The sculpture includes the heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
The back of the bottle also carries a State of Maryland liquor excise tax stamp and a gold-colored label listing the Dant distillery locations and the type of whiskey it once contained, "STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY // 8 YEARS OLD". It was, of course, emptied long ago. The remnants of a U.S. Internal Revenue tax label run up the side of the bottle and onto the cap.
Size: Approx. 9"W x 7.5"H x 3.5"D - 4/5 quart.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The bottle itself is in excellent shape, with some shelf wear on the bottom but no cracks or chips. (It is, of course, empty.) The Maryland and Dant labels are in very good shape, while the Internal Revenue label is torn and wrinkled. The cap seems to be firmly wedged in place. (Please see photos.)
