Meir Gur-Arie (Meer Gorodetsky; 1891-1951) is an Israeli artist born on the territory of the Russian Empire. One of the first students of the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem and a consistent apologist for the style of this art school in Israeli art; founder and chairman of the Jewish Art Association. His book ""Dudaim"" is a classic example of Bezalel style graphic production and was immensely popular in Israel until the 1960s., in Hebrew.
