1894 LION COFFEE Victorian Trade Card - Woolson Spice - children rolling hoops
Description: Victorian Trade Card - LION COFFEE - Woolson Spice Co., Toledo, Ohio
This very pretty card features a young girl in a long green dress and floppy hat rolling a hoop with a stick. There also appears to be a boy in the background doing the same.
The back of the card has an offer for a water-color picture of a young girl in a nightgown entitled "MEDITATION", which was free for 18 proofs of purchase and a 2-cent stamp. (Sorry, this offer expired January 1st, 1895!) At the bottom left corner is the number "17".
Size: approx. 5.5" x 3.5"

Condition: Very good, I'd say. This card is lightly soiled, with slightly worn edges and corners. There's a faint bend across the upper portion of the card, ending in a very small crease at the left edge. (Please see scans.)
