LION COFFEE Victorian Trade Card - boy w/ butterfly net, orchid(?), sailboat
Description: Victorian Trade Card - LION COFFEE, Woolson Spice Co., Toledo, Ohio
Here's a very pretty embossed vintage advertising card featuring a fancy-dressed young boy holding a butterfly net. There's also a flower that looks like at orchid, a large butterfly, and a scenic view of a house by the seashore, with a couple watching a sailboat glide by.
The back advertises LION COFFEE, "composed of a successful combination of MOCHA, JAVA, AND RIO".
Size: approx. 5.5" x 3.625"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. This card is generally only lightly soiled, although there's a small toned area on the back at the upper right corner. The edges and corners are just slightly worn. There are very small creases at the two lower corners and a mild thumb bend at the top edge. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
