Victorian Greeting Card from Scandinavia - pretty girl and pink rose
Description: Victorian Greeting Card - "Min hjerteliga lyckönskan"
Here's a pretty vintage greeting card from Sweden or Norway featuring a young blond girl sitting on the stem of a large pink rose and waving what looks like a peacock feather. the greeting appears to translate roughly into "My hearty congratulations".
The back of the card is blank, except for a handwritten name.
Size: approx. 3" x 4.25"
Date: Not dated
Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Good, I'd say. This card is a bit soiled with somewhat worn edges and corners. It is also mildly rippled and the back has a small brown discoloration where an old piece of adhesive tape once dried up and dropped off. (Please see scans.)
