Description: Very nice pair of First Flight Covers for the First Direct Lufthansa Flight from New York to Amsterdam. Both covers use the 11¢ John F. Kennedy air letter sheet (Sc. #UC38).

Cachet: Rectangular rubber-stamped blue or purple design featuring a small Lufthansa logo in the lower left corner, with accompanying text occupying the remainder of the box.
Condition: Clean and neatly label addressed (blurred in the listing image but NOT on the actual cover),
