This is a rare and vintage WESTERN MAN publication titled PARAGON No.2 featuring original pictorials / photography from photographer FRED BISONESS introducing JACK BURKE and TOM YORK. This magazine was produced in 1980 using extra heavy satin gloss stock paper. It is oversized at 8-1/2" x 11" and is in UNREAD condition. This item is DEADSTOCK and the original distributor never sold it; it has been in storage for over 40 years.
"Jack Burke may have the face of the boy next door, but a babe in the woods he's not. An ex-Marine sergeant, this strapping lad's been around the world--in more ways than one. He's back in school now, working his masters -- Yes, Sir! -- and picking up a few extra bucks along the way working that UNCUT wad of his in BRENTWOOD and PANTHEON productions."
"Tom York should've been surnamedJones. Can't you just imagine this sunny son of England breaking the heart of Suzanne York (no relation) in a remake of that popular history flick? Tom was visiting the colonies when we persuaded him in front of Western Man's lenses for a more modest--or maybe immodest--production. With the likes of York, there'll always be an England!"
There were 7 WESTERN MAN titles — PARAGON, CHEVRON, GYMNOS, RIVET and Western-themed BRONCO and CINCH, plus, of course, our very popular leather-themed STRAP! This magazine was produced in 1979 using heavy stock paper, with a glossy cover and is oversized at 8-1/2” x 11” and in UNREAD condition. This item is DEADSTOCK and the original distributor never sold it; it has been in storage for over 40 years.
“LEATHER. A loaded image. Costume for some, a sort of sexual armor. Lifestyle for others: those heavy-duty few deadly “serious” about it all. A theatre of high-macho fantasy for still others: more of us than might readily admit it. Strap is about men in leather: costume, fantasy — enjoy!”
ALL MODELS IN THIS MAGAZINE ARE CERTIFIED BY THE PUBLISHERS TO BE OVER THE LEGAL AGE OF 18, AS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW.
