This is a very nice lantern , no visible rust, the ventilator has a couple of small paint chips and small scratches, the fount looks to be in excellent condition, the cage nut is not the original one and the cap seal leaks, I used a solid cap to test , it pumps up and held pressure, you could also hear the generator working when turned on
