At 18 he enlisted in the financial guard. In the body he attended the high-speed school in Rome and, for this reason, he was employed as a chase pilot for smugglers. His approach to art began precisely during the period in finance; in fact, assigned in service to the command of Lieutenancy of S. Maria Maggiore from the upper Ossola valley, also known as the "valley of the painters", he began to attend ateliers of illustrious painters. Later he is transferred to the command of Aosta, where he leaves after six years of service. Self-taught. He has participated in numerous artistic and national and international events. He has set up several solo shows in the most important Italian cities.  Critics wrote about him: Marziano Berardi, Angelo Dragone, Luigi Carluccio, Augusto Minucci, Vittorio Bottino, Angelo Mistrangelo, Carlo Sartori, Glida Chepes, Lucio Cabutti, Lella Durando, Adalberto Rossi, Mel Menzio, Dario Contini, Aldo Chiarle, Aldo Spinardi, Ottavio Vitale.
