Vintage Needle Painting Embroidery Howard Payne Birth Place Home Hiawatha Heirloom
Welcome! Presenting a vintage needle embroidery painting on fine linen stamped on the lower right "Birth place of Howard Payne, Author of "Home Sweet Home". The embroidery is a combination of various stitches that includes some lovely knot work. It is matted and framed under glass in a brushed chrome and silver metal frame measuring 9 1/2 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches long. The visible fabric and embroidery measures 7 inches wide by 5 inches long. There is a label on the back that says "NY Solar Print, Frame Magic, 2215 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040.
PLEASE NOTE: This picture has not been unframed, so I am not able to verify the condition of the fabric underneath the framing. Otherwise, overall very good condition.
