F. Hoffmann Germany Landscape Painting Garmisch Mountains Gouache Listed Artist
Welcome! Presenting a vintage German mountain landscape gouache painting on thin cardboard or artist's board signed on the lower left by listed artist F. Hoffmann. The painting measures 12 1/2 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches long, and is titled on the reverse "Garmisch (ob. Bayern) Wetterstein, gb. It is believed to have been painted circa 1950s, 1960s. There are two product records on line for F. Hoffmann, including images with signature. Value ranges from $789 for one of the paintings, and $14,000 for the other (which is an oil on canvas and a unique image). I've priced according to what this painting is, with advice from a researcher. Reasonable offers are considered.
PLEASE NOTE: This painting is offered in good, intact condition. There are some very minor areas of paint loss around the edges. The reverse has scattered smudges. This was recently removed from a frame where it was under glass for years. It will be shipped unframed.
