1945 VETERANS' ADMINISTRATION Life Insurance Booklet for World War II Veterans
Description: Here's an interesting historical booklet published by the Veterans' Administration shortly after the end of World War II. It provides information for returning servicemen on the benefits, procedures, and costs for continuing to maintain their GI life insurance upon their return to civilian life. Included are numerous detailed tables showing the available policy benefit levels and premium rates.
There's a quote on one of the opening pages from General Omar Bradley extolling the virtues of both the armed forces and insurance.
Identified as Veterans' Administration "Insurance Form 1535", published October, 1945.
Size: approx. 4.375" x 5.75" (48 pages plus covers, staple bound)
Condition: Excellent, I'd say. Other than a little bit of rust on the staples, the booklet appears to be like new. (Please see scans.)
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
