Tuna Can Type Alcohol Survival Stove / Emergency Heater
Hi,
Ive been making some of these Tuna Can Survival Stove/Heaters Ive seen made on survival websites.
I made them basically for those that do not have the ability to make their own or for those that want one all already to go for use. They can use both the 93-97% Rubbing alcohol or we can use drinking alcohol and
other types in pic. You can also use cooking oil. This is a great use for used rancid oil that is no longer suitable for consumption.
There are all kinds of scenarios in which this type survival stove will come in handy. a SHTF scenario or Natural disasters often cause power outages for days, leaving stranded residents without hot water or a way to cook or even a way to sterilize water. Though small, a survival stove out of a tuna can will generate enough heat to boil water(in about 6 minutes) or stay warm in an emergency situation for up to 26 minutes per fill. Yes this type stove holds more fuel than the soda can type you may have seen therefore it has a longer burn time of approximately 26 minutes....give or take a few minutes. These are also GREAT for camping, backpacking or going on hikes in the woods to enjoy nature and be able to cook something up to eat, make hot water or even use for tent heater.
******* ✔ IMPORTANT NOTES ✔ ********
✔ Be sure to place your stove on a stable, level, fire-proof spot.
✔ High proof drinking or rubbing alcohol will work fine, just remember that the flames of burning alcohol can be very difficult to see in daylight, so use caution to avoid burning your fingers. It’s also important to wait until the can has burned out completely before adding more alcohol. Pouring alcohol into a burning stove can be very dangerous. Be careful to avoid spills and overfilling.(fill only to halfway)
✔ See this type of tuna stove I've made in action here --> (link to come soon).
✔ See pics for the type of tuna can stove I've made and what you will receive.
✔ The center hole that you see is where the stove is filled to about half way up.(they work great!)
✔ After filling the stove half way up, light it with a lighter then wait about a minute for the flame to
turn blue.... then you can set your cooking pot centered right on the surface, this will cause the flames
to come out of the holes you see drilled around the sides of the tuna can just like on a gas stove burner.
✔ This Tuna can Emergency Stove produces a very Compact Flame, making Pan cooking very easy.
✔ When using it for heat only place your stove on a stable, level, fire-proof spot and just light it.
** NOTE ** They are ** LOCAL PICKUP Only** at my address in west Anderson SC for the $5 price stated(unless you want to pay the shipping of $5 each stove) to your US Address Only!! Pay Total of $10 with US Only shipping!! Thanks!! ;)
