If you are a fan of Blade Runner you don't want to miss this little gem. Slice of Life is a fascinating award winning short taking place in the world of Blade Runner. Even the noodle bar White Dragon was recreated for the short. It was made possible thanks to one of the most successful Kickstarter movie campaigns and was praised by The Verge, Film Threat, Alec Gillis and basically every Blade Runner fan. It’s entirely made with practical effects, miniatures, matte paintings, rear projections - You won't find any CGI here!
It’s available to watch for free online, but physical media - the DVD was available only for Kickstarter backers. One can imagine it will become extremely sought after and mega rare Blade Runner related memorabilia.
Blu-Ray is housed in still sealed cardboard style case, features over 3 hours of really fun extras and comes with a bonus soundtrack CD. There is no dialogue in the short, but all onscreen text is in English (well Japanese too… it’s Blade Runner after all!). DVD version (All Region) is available upon request ($29).
Worldwide tracked airmail shipping: $10.99. Please be patient with delivery because of postal delays due to pandemic.
