HELPS FOR ALLERGICS - Good Housekeeping Institute - 1946 Information Booklet
Description: Here's an interesting thin booklet/pamphlet from 1946 entitled "Helps for Allergics". It was produced by the Good Housekeeping Institute's "THE BABY CENTER" and appears to be primarily directed to new parents of a baby who may be allergic to one or more foods or other environmental allergens. The first few pages are devoted to answering questions about allergies and allergens, while the remainder of the booklet is devoted to "Cooking for allergics" and contains about 20 recipes which eliminate, or go easy on, such ingredients as wheat flour, milk and eggs.
Size: approx. 11.25" x 8" (12 pages)
Copyright: 1946
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The booklet is only lightly soiled and has been folded in half (which may be the way it was originally distributed). The upper right corner of the front page is clipped and the back page has a small tear. There are no extraneous markings. (Please see scans.)
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
