Aldo Tura Modern Italian Brass Cocktail Set for Napoleon Cognac 1960s
This original astonishing cocktail set in brass and black lacquered brass was designed by Aldo Tura Macabo for Napoleon Cognac and produced in Italy by Cusano Milanino. The set includes a thermos, a cocktail shaker and an ice bucket with pliers. Made in Italy in the early 1960s in limited editions, collector's items.

Aldo Tura is one of the most important Italian designer. In 1939 he founded his own furnishing laboratory in Lombardy, near Milan.
His mix of Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles with Minimalist design has exceeded the limits of traditional craftsmanship. Following the Art Deco movement, centered on straight lines and angles, Tura's drawings now contained flowing lines and free shapes.
The Brooklyn Museum in New York City exhibits some of Tura's works, which was originally part of the traveling exhibition Italy at Work: Her Renaissance in Design Today 1950-1953.
