Vintage Divided Back Postcard in Good, Used but not Posted Condition.
This card was published by the Indiana News Company and has the UNCO logo on lower left corner.
Reid Hospital was named after Daniel G. Reid's wife, Ella and son, Frank who both died before the turn of the century. Reid was a wealthy industrialist who financed the construction from tin plating, railroads and steel. The cornerstone was laid in September of 1904 and the dedication took place July 27, 1905.
