Antique Japanese Famille Rose Geisha Table Screen Framed Porcelain Plaque Tile 2

  Excellent fine quality Japanese antique painting on porcelain tile plaque from a table screen probably from the 19th or early 20th century. Depicted are 3 women in traditional Japanese dress in a domestic setting.  The addition of the gold paint adds character to the figures in the painting and is a sharp contrast and accents the bold orange and black primary colors.  The plaque is signed but we cannot interpret what it says and since we know very little about oriental porcelain, cannot pinpoint a period for this piece.   We have described this exquisite plaque to the best of our knowledge using the internet and other examples for information.  We do know that it is a quality piece that came from an Estate product with very high end items from all over the world and belonged to serious collectors.   This painting and plaque are in EXCELLENT condition with only some wear to the wood frame. There are no signs of damage that we could find aside from the wood.  The overall picture measures 15 1/2” wide x 21 3/4” high inclusive of the wooden frame.
