Nice pair of first flight covers for the first service on Air Mail Route 4 from Chicago, Illinois to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Postmarked: 1) HC - CHICAGO, ILL.. - May 24, 1967
2) HC - CHICAGO, ILL. AMF O'HARE - May 24, 1967
Cachet: Rubber-stamped design in green or red featuring the flags of the United States and Canada. Text reads: "FIRST FLIGHT AM 4 / CHICAGO TO TORONTO". The back of the Airport Mail Facility cover also has a small blue rubber stamp featuring an American Airlines logo and the words: "TORONTO / MAY 24, 1967".
Condition: Generally clean and neatly label addressed, but the AMF cover has a 1½" cut just inside the lower left edge. (Please see scans.)
