1967 BOAC International First Flight Cover - HONOLULU, HAWAII / SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
Very nice first flight cover for BOAC's inaugural service from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Sydney, Australia. The cover uses the 11¢ John F. Kennedy air letter sheet (Sc. #UC38).
Postmarked: MC - HONOLULU, HAWAII - April 1, 1967, with a nice backstamp from SYDNEY N.S.W. AUST. on April 3, 1967, as shown above.
Cachet: Rubber-stamped blue design featuring a jumping kangaroo. Text reads: "BOAC / First flight / USA to Australia / Honolulu to Sydney".
Condition: Generally neat and clean, with a small label address. However, the cover has a noticeable wrinkle just beneath the postage imprint.
