1970 U.S. Navy Keel Laying Cover - MOUNT VERNON (LSD 39)
Here's a very nice cacheted cover for the keel-laying of the U.S. Navy ship Mount Vernon.

Cachet: Purple rubber-stamped cachet with text that reads, "MOUNT VERNON / LSD 39 / KEEL LAID / BY / QUINCY DIVISION / GENERAL DYNAMICS / QUINCY, MASSACHUSETTS / W#21".
Condition: Clean and neatly label addressed, with a few mild creases. A green rubber stamp was added to the back by the sponsor, Malcolm C. Walker (see scan).
