KATE BUSH : LIVE AT MANCHESTER APOLLO 1979 DVD
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PLACING ORDER.
Professionally recorded, but raw, video of Kate Bush and her band’s entire show at the Manchester Apollo on April 10th 1979, originally intended for broadcast on the Granada TV (UK) show On The Road. For whatever reason, it was never broadcast. It didn’t even get properly edited. For example, you can sometimes hear Kate Bush’s comments on the performance through her mic as she leaves the stage. The sound is from the mixing desk/soundboard, so quality is not as good as you would expect from a commercial release. Having said that, the video and audio are still good quality. I’ve applied an edit here and there, mainly to delete pauses between the three acts of the show, and removed the annoying time stamp from the master recording. This is a fantastic and unique document of Kate Bush in concert at the height of her commercial success. Tracklisting: Moving, The Saxophone Song, Room For The Life, Them Heavy People, The Man With The Child In His Eyes, Egypt, L’Amour Looks Something Like You, Violin, The Kick Inside, In The Warm Room, Fullhouse, Strange Phenomena, Hammer Horror, Kashka From Baghdad, Don’t Push Your Foot On The Heartbrake, Wow, Coffee Homeground, In Search Of Peter Pan, Symphony In Blue, Feel It, Kite, James & The Cold Gun, Oh England My Lionheart, Wuthering Heights. 115 minutes.
