Details from http://theamigamuseum.com/amiga-kickstart-workbench-os/kickstart/kickstart-1-3/:
Kickstart 1.3 first appeared in December 1987 (v 34.005) and was the first version of Kickstart to be able to boot from a hard disk without requiring a floppy disk. This was a result of fixing the bug that was found in Autoconfig in Kickstart 1.2. Autoconfig was also enhanced to include additional RAM, so the user no longer needed to use the addram command.
