Vintage ca. 1912 THANKSGIVING Postcards (3) - Used
Here's a small group of 3 Thanksgiving postcards. The first has a simple harvest motif with a pumpkin, apples, and corn stalks. The second features a painting (signed J. G. Gershenhauer, I think) of a stately brick house, surrounded by trees with a small stream flowing by. On the back, it's marked "Printed in Germany" and "Serie 604". The third has a very pretty scene of cows grazing near a stream which flows beneath an arched stone bridge. A fancy, embossed gold border surrounds the scene.
Size: Each approx. 5½" x 3½"
Date: No copyright dates, but the first one has a postmark of 1912, while the third one is 191_ (last digit not quite legible)
Condition: Fair to good, I'd say. The first and third cards are both used, the first one being quite dirty and the third having a creased and chipped lower right corner. The second card is unused with slightly worn edges and some light brown spotting on the back. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. (This lot includes 3 cards.) For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
