1912 DES MOINES, IOWA - Municipal Building Postcard - Used
Here's an historic old color photo postcard from Des Moines, Ia., showing the Municipal Building and numbered "3840".
The card is postmarked on March 2, 1912, from Des Moines, and is addressed to a Roy C. Johnson in King City, Mo., from a W. E. Davy, who's title is given as "Chief Correspondent". The message text references a monthly report that has been received and is being processed.
Size: approx. 3 3/8" x 5 3/8"
Date: Postmarked 1912 but the card itself has no copyright date.
Condition: Fine, I'd say. It's obviously been postally but is only lightly soiled with has slightly "bumped" corners. There's a small crease across the lower left corner.
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
