Welcome! Presenting a primitive carved wood plunger style butter mold or press with an intaglio image of a sheaf of wheat on the face. The mold itself measures 3 inches in diameter with a wooden housing that measures 4 inches in diameter rim to rim at the bottom and about 3 inches high. The plunger, when pulled all the way up, measures 2 3/4 inches high from the top of the housing. There are scattered dark spots and some specks of white paint to the wood. There are a couple of areas of rough/scraped wood. No cracks. Overall good intact condition.
