This is an unique fan-made DVD with 4 Ghibli Museum shorts by legendary director Hayao Miyazaki. The DVD includes sequel to Totoro called Mei and the Kittenbus and the newest one - Boro the Caterpillar, Miyazaki's first anime in 5 years. Shorts are screened only at Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan and they were never available nor released anywhere.

There are guards in the theater so it's extremely hard to record the shorts. A few audience recordings did leak to the public (they're impossible to find online!), but never Boro the Caterpillar which is our exclusive. Quality of recordings is not good (audience’s heads are often obscuring the screen, picture and sound is distorted and cropped… see images in the listing), but it’s the only way to experience these short masterpieces from the director and the studio that brought us Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away.

DVD is in NTSC (US) format and is region free. No artwork, case nor disc label (disc is housed in paper sleeve). Check the manuals to make sure your DVD player/game console & TV are capable of playing NTSC. Computers can play any format with a free VLC player.

As a bonus, DVD includes scans of 9 Ghibli Museum Shorts Artbooks in pdf format, as well as "My Neighbor Totoro - Mother Returns" short released on LaserDisc 1990 - all accessible on your Mac or PC as a DVD-Rom. Disc comes in paper sleeve and has label artwork.
