Here is a nice example of a church cookbook filled with "from scratch" recipes. This one is titled... Pantry Secrets Church Cookbook Minneapolis, Minnesota MN 1963
This wire bound cookbook is a used and loved cookbook-- there is wear at the bottom edges of the covers and pages by the wire spiral from a repeatedly bad re-shelving. Front cover has a few light creases.
INSIDE, the pages are at least 97% free of any marks, stains or writing. Just that wear to the bottom edges of the covers and a few pages. A little bit of foxing (discoloration of the pages from age) around the edges.
Chapters include: Appetizers, Breads--Donuts & Pancakes, Cakes & Frostings, Candy, Casseroles & Meats, Cookies & Bars, Desserts & Pies, Preserves & Pickles, Quantity Cooking, Salads & Dressings, Sauces, Vegetables & Smörgåsbord (with recipes from pages 141 to 160.
