All 5 of these Southern Potteries Blue Ridge Tulip bread and butter plates are in great condition.

They don't have any chips, cracks or crazing on them, but they each have a few small surface scratch marks on them from use.

The yellow tulip, the pink rose and the green leaves are all hand painted onto the plates.

The plates are in the their Colonial shape with 1.75 inch long ruffles out to the edge of the plates.

There is a small yellow band around the plates where the ruffled edging begins.

The back sides of the plates are marked: Tulip; Underglaze; Hand Painted; Made In USA.

I'm not sure exactly when the Tulip or June Bride pattern was made, but Southern Potteries was in business in Tennessee from the 1930's to 1957.
