Here is a very collectible rectangular plate signed by the famous Anthoni van Gool. Not all of his artwork is signed.
He painted 3 different scenes for Goedewaagen Gouda. The herring eaters, people on bicycles and and a scene of herring eaters, bicycles and flower sellers. If interested I have a number of them.
This plate with People on bicycles is approximately 9 inches by 4-1/2 inches.
It is in excellent condition except for a couple of black spots that can be seen in the pictures. I think it is paint because it looks under the glaze.
