Here is a very collectible round plate signed by the famous Anthoni van Gool. Not all of his artwork is signed.
He painted 3 different scenes for Goedewaagen Gouda. The herring eaters, people on bicycles and and a scene of herring eaters, bicycles and flower sellers. If interested I have a number of them.
This plate with the herring eaters is approximately 6-1/2 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition. There is one small black spot on the edge of the plate which I think is ink and it looks like it is under the glaze.
