Vintage 1940s 50s Top Hit Baar & Beards Japan Handmade Faux Pearl Beaded Collar Necklace
Vintage 1940s-50s collar necklace Handmade a "Top Hit" Fashion, Baar & Beards Inc Japan. This was a retail company that originated in Brooklyn, established in NY in 1941. The collar is embellished with rows of off white colored faux pearls and tube beads. Two beaded dangles hang from front. Has an eye but is missing the tiny metal hook closure. Backing appears to be satin. A beautiful handmade piece and a great way to embellish a cardigan or blouse. The perfect vintage glam accessory for the modern day glamour girl.

Vintage Condition: VG. No missing pearls. A few pearls in one area have either scratches or paint peel and is missing a few beads in one area (approx 1/2"). All pearls appear to be securely intact. Some staining on back. Still in great condition for something approx 70 years old.
