STRATER HOTEL - Durango, Colorado - 1980s Vintage Matchbook Cover
Description: Here's a nice semi-vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from the Strater Hotel, located on Main Street in Durango, Colorado.
The inside claims that it was "Rated Excellent" by AAA. It was "COMPLETELY RENOVATED IN AUTHENTIC VICTORIAN DECOR" and was "Air Conditioned", "Near Narrow-Gauge Train" (the Durango-Silverton), in "Heart of Historic District". It had "Elegant Dining", as well as the "DIAMOND BELLE SALOON" and the "DIAMOND CIRCLE THEATRE".

Date: Not dated, but I'm know it to be from the late 1980s
Condition: Excellent, I'd say. The cover is very clean and the striker strip shows no evidence of actual use. (Please see scans.)
