This listing is for 4 antique linen and lace doilies, all in perfect condition. They have linen centers which make them ideal as bases for lamps and art objects or figurines. All have different kinds of lace edges.

1. Whitework daisies with bobbin lace edge. I actually think this is cotton. It is 10 inches in diameter. 25.5 cms. It is all handmade including the lace.
2. Whitework dots, cutwork, on probably cotton with hand crocheted lace edge done in a style to look like bobbin lace. Very elaborate. It is 11 inches in diameter or 28 cms.
3. Plain linen center with tatted lace edge. The tatting is done with coarser thread than normal tatting but the stitching is definitely following the tatting technique. It is almost 8 inches in diameter, 20 cms.
4. Linen center embroidered with a shamrock and a horseshoe and a lace edge that is hand crocheted in a simple chain pattern. It is 8 inches in diameter or 20.5 cms. This doily has 1 break in the outside chain which is easily repaired with a single stitch. Unfortunately my eyesight and manual dexterity makes that impossible for me to undertake.
