WIEBOLDT'S SUPER Food Markets - Chicago, Illinois - Vintage Matchbook Cover
Description: Here's an interesting vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from Wieboldt's, a department store chain based in Chicago, Illinois. This cover promotes Wieboldt's "6 complete SUPER Food Markets" which had "every day low prices".
There's no printing on the inside.

Actual Size: approx. 2" x 1.5" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but I believe it's from the 1950s or 1960s
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is just a bit soiled but the striker strip area has some damage from the careless removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional pinhole which passes through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
