RARE Antique late 1800s (1890s) Mercantile Note Promissory Note Pad Booklet containing blank notes. An American eagle with a shield and locomotive on cover. Inside notes have a nature illustration, dollar amount, date, promise to pay to the order of, No., Value received, Due.
Details: There appears to be at least 30 blank notes. These have not been counted since the item is fragile and will leave handling up to the buyer.
Size: 8 1/4" X 3 1/2"
ERA: 1890s
Vintage Condition: Cover has writing in pencil, a small tear, corner tear and corner fold. Fountain pen writing can be seen on the inkblot page. Checks are all in excellent condition with no folds, creases or damage. Cover is ripped at binding and checks have come loose at binding. In VG shape considering it's over 125 years old.
