Description: Here's a standard-sized matchbook cover advertising the "Nationally Known" Highlander Restaurant on US 27 at North Ave. in Lake Wales, Fla. The place was "Air Conditioned" and "Open Every Day Except Christmas", with "Citrus Specialties".

The inside states that it was an AAA Approved Restaurant with "Food That Tastes Good / Complete Selection From Sandwiches To Steaks".

Date: Not dated, but likely from the early 1960s or perhaps even the late 1950s.

Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is a bit soiled and the striker strip has been used several times. Additionally, the original staple was removed and then replaced when any remaining matches and the stubs were taken out. There's also an extra set of staple holes which go through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
