Humorous Marble Paperweight / Desk Sign - "NEVER PLAY LEAPFROG WITH A UNICORN"
Description: Here's a humorous grayish marble paperweight or desk sign that displays what I think is a very sensible philosophy. It's incised with the phrase "Never Play Leapfrog with a Unicorn" and an image of a unicorn rearing up on its hind legs.
Most of the block is smoothly polished, but the top and right edges are rough cut and the back is unpolished. The marble is generally light grey with some darker grey shading, seen best in the first image. (The second image is a flash photo which seemed to wash out the subtle coloring.)
A small sticker on the back reads "MSR IMPORTS INC", "MADE IN TAIWAN". There's no date on the sign, but I've had it at least since the early 1980s. (It decorated my own desk, office or cubicle for many years.)
Size: approx. 3" tall x 6" wide x .75" thick
Condition: Excellent, I'd say, with no scratches or nicks, and no noticeable wear to the lettering or design.
