One ball of Red Heart's popular but discontinued Spark A Doodle pom pom yarn in black "Night Light." This is like Pomp-A-Doodle yarn (also discontinued) except Spark-A-Doodle has little metallic sparkles in it.
I did the math: With 54 yards of yarn in each package, and each pom pom about 3 inches apart (4 pom poms per foot), that makes 648 pom poms on each skein of yarn. The pom poms are about 3/4 inch in diameter, and they sparkle just a bit. There is just enough yarn in between to do a single crochet, then a pom pom, then another single crochet, then another pom pom. There is a knitting pattern on each skein for a scarf. It's Red Heart pattern LW2215. You can google it now to see if it's something you would like to try.
