Offered is a hard cover copy with dust jacket of the book, TÊTE À TÊTE Portraits by Henri Cartier-Bresson introduction by EH Gombrich. Originally copyright 1998 by Thames and Hudson of London, this book was published by Little, Brown and Co in 1999 as the first North American Edition in conjunction with an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institute. This copy is a stated second printing. Dark blue cloth covers the boards and spine, the only decoration is grey/pewter text on the spine; the dust jacket shows a series of photos in aquamarine and black with white text on the front and spine. Approximately 9 3/4" x 12" with 138 pages, 142 duo tone images, indexed.

This book has been well cared for, very little wear. The inside pages are clean, binding tight, the corners and spine sharp. The dust jacket, even is in good condition, though does suffer a small amount of shelf wear along the lower edges.
