------------------------------------------------------
Offered is a hardcover book by Alice W Houston, The American Heritage Book of FISH COOKERY, a book that discusses not only the cooking of fish found in America, but catching them, and history. The book has an illustrated cover, likely laminated paper; interesting that the images are of fisherwomen, the spine is aqua with white text. Approximately 7 5/8" x 10" with 224 pages, illustrated end papers, with lots of illustration, including historic photos of fishing scenes.
This book is in excellent shape. The pages are clean other than a little pricing in pencil on the first page, the binding tight and the corners sharp. There is a dent on the lower front cover close to the corner. The book shows very minor wear along the edges and spine, and it appears that the opening of the boards has left marks on the surface of the spine where it bends; tiny cracks in the surface of the cover's finish. Please see the photos for more information about condition.
Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for considering this cookbook!
